Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida Announces Chairs and New Members for President's Council

Make-A-Wish Southern Florida is pleased to announce the 2014/15 Make-A-Wish Southern Florida President’s Council. The annual meeting to kick off the new fiscal year and welcome new Council members was held on September 10th at Angelina’s Ristorante in Bonita Springs.

Jenny Foegen of the Naples Princess, Dylan Sanders with Fidelity Investments, and Amy Sedlacek of ABC7, will co-chair the President’s Council this year. Their term of service began on September 1 to coincide with the start of the Make-A-Wish fiscal year.

Members of the council are: Gordon Bajema, Susan Battaglia, Chief Jim Bloom, Erin Blumer, Craig Chasnov, Rick Childress, Scott Craven, Michele Eddy, Tom Falciglia, Barb Gallo, Rick Gallo, Matthew Gordon, Jeff Jerome, Leo Mediavilla Ed.D, Jan Miller, Ron Miller, Brandy Ollie, Pam Price, Jesse Purdon, Andrew Sicnolf, Nannette Staropoli, Lynne Tarman, Sue Watts, Chris Wentworth and Judith Yevick.

The focus for the upcoming fiscal year will be to grow awareness in the Southwest Florida community for Make-A-Wish and secure corporate donors through sponsorship and workplace giving in order to grant more wishes to local children.

Make-A-Wish Southern Florida grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Thirty years of magic and more than 9,000 wishes later, the mission continues to share the power of a wish® with ailing children.
